It is hard to believe we are half way through 2013 already! In the Cape, June brings rain, snow-capped mountains and of course Father’s Day, traditionally celebrated on the third Sunday of this month. Did you know, economists estimate that Americans spend more than one billion dollars every year on Father’s Day gifts? Luckily the Blaauwklippen Barouche Restaurant is offering a sumptuous Father’s Day menu that will not break the bank, four courses for R350 per person:
An amazing amuse of smoked ostrich carpaccio with herbed goats cheese and a berry compote, baked melanzane stack as starter, a hearty main of either lemongrass and ginger poached Norwegian salmon or braised beef brisket and a decadent chocolate tart for dessert.
Booking essential: Call (021) 880 8222 / firstname.lastname@example.org
Friendly reminder: Our Restaurant is closed during the winter months on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Celebrating our Vintage
We are very excited about the eminent release of the Blaauwklippen Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 that will sell for R66 per bottle. Cabernet Sauvignon is often referred to as the “King of red wine” and after a sip of this elegant, yet well-structured wine you will understand why.
Pre-order now and get 6 bottles but only pay for 5. FREE delivery to Cape Town and surrounding areas. Offer valid until end of June 2013.
On the topic of vintages, we are happy to introduce Vintage Wednesdays, when you can celebrate your pensioner status (60+) with a 15% discount on food and wine at Blaauwklippen.
