Time Marches On…
I can hardly believe we are almost in the third month of 2013! By the time you read this our White Zinfandel will be happily fermenting in the cellar and the harvest will be in full swing.
We bottled some new releases, among others the Blaauwklippen Cultivar Selection Rosé, produced from Shiraz and Zinfandel grapes. The wine is delicately styled with aromas of apple, pear and cherries and sells for R40 per bottle.
The new 2010 Vineyard Selection Cabriolet, is a seamless blend of 50% Malbec, 30% Merlot, 10% Shiraz, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine can be enjoyed now, but has excellent cellaring potential. It sells for R87 per bottle.
Enjoy the last of the late summer sunsets in the company of The Winelands Swinging Jazz Band with Klaus Baltin & friends.
