A traditionally South African pairing

Pritti by Migneon Marais-2032

Blaauwklippen Vineyards, one of the oldest wine farms in Stellenbosch and the Cape Winelands, welcomes to the Month of March with a modern twist on a traditional pairing; Mosbolletjie and Wine.

A mosbolletjie, traditionally known as an Afrikaans or Cape Dutch sweet-bun or bread, provides the perfect option for a pairing as it suits hot or cold weather, and can be enjoyed by any taste palate. Our latest Mosbolletjie & Wine pairing promises to be both a delicious and truly South African experience.

Our new take on a traditional treat allows you to experience great flavour, with complimentary notes of lemon, aniseed and chocolate paired to perfection with our wines – you’ll be coming back to the Stellenbosch Winelands every weekend till the end of March to enjoy this pairing:

Lemon and Sultana Mosbol with herb butter, paired with Diva MCC 2016,

Aniseed Mosbol with Bacon Jam, paired with White Zinfandel 2018,

Chocolate-Goji Berry Mosbol with Homemade Hazelnut-Chocolate Praline with Zinfandel 2017

Join us at Blaauwklippen Vineyards till the end of March for this exclusive wine pairing at R150 per person, it’s the best thing to do over the weekend in Stellenbosch – and the perfect accompaniment to a delicious meal in our restaurant!
Be sure to keep your eyes (and palate) out for our April wine and food pairing!
