Have a Holly Jolly Holiday at Blaauwklippen Vineyards this Festive Season

December is here and it’s hard to believe that the year is almost over. It seems like just the other day we welcomed in 2017 and now 2018 is right on our doorstep. Of course the Festive Season is a joyous occasion, even more so in the Stellenbosch winelands at Blaauwklippen Vineyards, with the renowned and popular Blaauwklippen Twilight Christmas Market, offering food, gifts, fun, and live music for one and all.

The Blaauwklippen Twilight Christmas Market has become famous for offering a magical Christmas extravaganza beneath twinkling lights on lovely summer evenings in the winelands, taking place every evening, 4pm until 9pm from 19 – 23 December. With the number of regular Sunday stalls much increased, visitors will have a fair selection of goodies, food and drink to choose from this year. Take the pain out of wandering around dull malls to do your Christmas shopping and meander through the myriad of wonderful stalls with a wide selection of crafts and curios, so many that you’re sure to find the perfect gift for that someone special.

One of the most popular events at the Blaauwklippen Twilight Christmas Market every year are the Carols by Candle Light, this year held on 21 December. The Oak Trio with vocalist Annette Kemp will be performing on cello, flute and keyboard, and will bring some copies of both English and Afrikaans carols. Join us at dusk (7:30pm) under the Western Cape skies for this very special occasion.

Of course what visit to the Stellenbosch winelands would be complete without wonderful wine! Blaauwklippen Vineyards will be offering some wines at bargain prices for the duration of the Blaauwklippen Twilight Christmas Market, so make sure you don’t miss out on some spectacular specials.

Make the most of the festive season spending time with friends and families at Blaauwklippen Vineyards and make memories for many years to come, perhaps with a glass of fine Blaauwklippen wine in hand. What better way to end off your 2017?
