Located at the foothills of the Stellenbosch Mountain, the Estate comprises of 115 hectares. The farm has rich and fertile soils, hailed from grey-blue decomposed granite deposited against the mountain slopes. Vineyard practices are aimed at achieving the perfect balance between healthy vines and low yields, to produce the best quality wines.
De Blaauwe Klip 2018
Dark cassis and cigar box with plum-chocolate pudding notes on the nose. The palate is vibrant with velvet tannins and a serious mid palate and length. Enjoy now or cellar for 5-20 years. A stunning wine for serious venison dishes.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Mulberry and bright cassis notes combine with fresh cranberry and mulberry nuances. The nose finishes with mineral dark chocolate and cedarwood aromas. A rich palate with great texture and velvet mid palate tannins. The lush and aromatic finish ends with great poise.
Malbec 2021
Dark chocolate, mineral and tobacco nuances support the abundant notes of mulberry, cassis, blueberry, black berry and plums. Plush chalky tannins with vibrant texture on the palate. A fine aromatic finish with lingering length and creamy flinty texture.
Cabernet Franc 2020
Sumptuous red fruit and cassis aromas with nuances of sweet cinnamon, violets and delicate cedarwood. The palate shows textured velvet tannins with a sweet mid palate weight. It leads to an elegant, aromatic focus finish with length.
Shiraz 2020
Dark cherries, spiced plum and licorice nuances on the nose leads to plush fruit flavours on the palate. A mineral mid palate leads to a flinty aftertaste and creamy finish.
Zinfandel 2019
Sour cherry and ripe cranberry with licorice, dark chocolate, cinnamon and allspice notes are supported by delicate floral notes. A savoury textured wine with chalky tannins and a mineral mid palate concludes in a fresh focused Finish with hints of tobacco lingering on the palate.
Merlot 2021
Mulberry, chocolate and cassis notes on the nose, with hints of spiced nuts. Chalky tannins with a smooth and lingering finish. Serve slightly chilled (18°C) it is great summer red wine.
Brut MCC 2022
Delicate rose petal and nectarine nuances leads to hints of orange blossom, strawberries and lemons. The mousse is fine with mineral notes and a creamy brioche core. Finishes with juicy freshness and finesse.
Chenin Blanc 2024
Yellow peach and quince notes are enhanced by nuances of straw, pineapple, fresh lemon zest and delicate yellow flowers. The creamy palate leads to a smooth, elegant and refreshing finish.
Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Green fig and lemon curd aromas merge with mineral pine needle and soft white flower notes. The mineral and savoury palate leads to a creamy finish with great elegance and freshness.
Chardonnay 2022
Rich citrus, orange blossom and yellow flower notes merge with hints of yellow peach and Crème Brûlée. A fresh acidity combines with the rich and creamy mid palate to finish with a lingering mineral core. A wine to savour on its own.
Blush Rosé 2022
Rosé gold coloured wine with notes of nectarines, strawberries, Turkish delight and brioche on the nose. The savoury mouthfeel has a mineral core and a refreshing finish.

Blaauwklippen’s specialties include a 10-year-old Potstilled Brandy and the acclaimed Before & After aperitif. With striking packaging and produced in limited quantities, these are ideal gifts and well suited to celebrate any special occasion.
10-Year Potstill Brandy
The Brandy was matured in selected 225l French oak barrels for 10 years . A rare complex brandy with whiffs of vanilla, cloves and rich fruit flavours. Serve neat or on the rocks after a meal. Also pairs well with chocolate and cheese.
Before & After Apéretif
A blend of wood matured red Noble Late Harvest & Blaauwklippen Potstill Brandy. Sensuous flavours of Christmas spices create the backbone of this brandy fortified aperitif. Enjoy neat or on the rocks as an aperitif or digestif or use it in cocktails.

Garden Gin
Crystal-clear, its upfront aroma driven by fresh pine & camphor with perfumed passion fruit and sage is complemented by subtle citrus zest. Freshness followed by complex herbal notes and sweetly fruity orange that carry through to a gentle, fresh finish.
Farm Gin
Floral and complex, infused with juniper and an array of 11 other botanicals. Sweet honeysuckle flowers and herbal geranium, with fragrant juniper pine & grapefruit nose. Grapefruit and Orange citrus lingers with a floral & spicy white pepper finish.
