Blaauwklippen was founded in 1682 and stands as one of the oldest wine farms in the country. It was also the first registered company in South Africa. The label design tells a story of continuity and evolution. The Z is inspired by historic vine-like typography, symbolising the farm’s deep heritage. The I features a clean, contemporary serif cut-out that draws focus to the wine inside the bottle. The N reflects modernity and a forward-looking approach. Together, these elements create a visual narrative that aligns with Blaauwklippen’s journey through time.
The inaugural release under The House of Zin is a 100% Zinfandel Rosé. This rose-gold-coloured wine introduces a fresh and zesty expression of the cultivar.
