South Africa’s oldest wine estate honoured at the Global Brand Awards
Blaauwklippen, South Africa’s oldest wine estate and the country’s oldest registered company, has been honoured as Best Heritage Wine Estate in the 2025 Global Brand Awards. Celebrated for its centuries-old legacy, ongoing innovation, and unforgettable visitor experiences, Blaauwklippen was selected from over 18,000 global contenders. This recognition follows the estate’s recent return to independent production and investment in premium guest offerings—from vineyard walks to a purpose-built Pump Track. With deep roots dating back to 1682, Blaauwklippen continues to shape the Cape Winelands as a proud ambassador of South African heritage.
